The downstairs bathroom was completely uninhabitable due to a terrible smell, which immediately set the tone for the visit. The basement bedroom wasn’t much better—musty, damp, and not a space anyone in our group felt comfortable sleeping in. It clearly needed attention and proper ventilation.Communication with the host was also very poor. Although the listing advertised accommodations for eight people, the kitchen only had four chairs. We called to request additional towels, a blow dryer, and more chairs, and while we were told they would be delivered the next day, nothing ever arrived.The upstairs area offered more usable space, but it still wasn’t up to standard. It was musty, not particularly clean, and had thick dust on the fans and blinds. There was also mold around the toilet bases and cobwebs throughout. The one positive was that the beds seemed newer and were comfortable.Overall, the stay had potential but fell far short due to cleanliness issues, a problematic basement space, and unresponsive hosting.

Mike was quick to respond to calls or texts. House was clean and comfortable for our large group of hunters. We all felt it was perfect. Planning on returning next year.

I don't know what the skiing evaluation had to do with this property, but it would not let me go on with the review without it so I marked it a five as I did not want it to negatively impact the review. Our stay was great. Everything was exactly as described. The host communicated promptly and was very accommodating to our needs. It was a great stay. We all agreed we would certainly stay there again should we return to the area.

Room had a pizza box left in it. Bed was not made.

Very nice and clean. The outside was great and relaxing. Gonna try and stay again.
