Make your way 65 kilometres southeast and you'll be in Trujillo, a regional centre with a population of 9,000. While you're in this neck of the woods, you'll be able to whip out your selfie stick and get your tourist on at Plaza Mayor, Trujillo Castle and City Walls. The Museo de Vino y Queso and Palace of the Dukes of San Carlos are a couple more sights that are sure to offer up some photo ops. The Parador de Trujillo and Eurostars Palacio Santa Marta are some great accommodation options in Trujillo.
