This was from my first backpacking experience ever. I was thoroughly unprepared with my 40+ year old 15 pound tent from my boyfriend's grandfather but it all worked out. This was someone else's nicer and lighter tent and man did they nab a great view. Despite the rain and wind, it was definitely worth it. I love this picture because it shows just how small humans can be compared to the awesome vastness of nature. #Adventure means going out of your comfort zone and I certainly did with no regrets.

Trolltunga! Norwegian for troll’s tongue. This is a brutal 12 hour hike in snow shoes just outside of a beautiful village named Odda. Odda is about a 6 hour bus ride from Oslo.
The troll's tongue (Trolltunga) is a piece of rock jutting horizontally out of a mountain about 700 metres above the Ringedalsvatnet lake in Norway. #troveon @trover #trolltunga #norway #travel #landscape

Roughly a 14 miles in and out hike in picturesque Norway. The trail was rated as difficult by many bloggers but I found it to be rather on the lower side of medium. The toughest part of the hike was the initial half mile or so ascent. Amazing views the whole way despite having rain through most of the hike. The clouds clear enough for me to get a photo at the end of the ledge (troll's tongue).

Brilliant find this hotel. Staff were superb and extremely helpful with regards gluten free breakfast options for someone in our party. We had top floor room with view over the harbour.
