Great hotel, rooms are large and very functional, nice location by the water and in walking distance to downtown.

Great secluded hotel with wonderful walking trails next to the coast! Love the amazing views of the Atlantic and surrounding so much, I would go back just because of this. Room was dated but served the purpose. Only one in-house restaurant. Food was good but has limited options. Same menus everyday, they should change the menus from day-to-day. Overall, it’s a very good hotel with most wonderful views!! It’s very relaxing! Staff were courteous and always helpful. Highly recommended!!

Very nice hotel. Staff all friendly and attentive. Well located on the waterfront in the centre of ponta delgada. Good breakfast options.

We are very satified with our stay at Hotel Gaivota Azores. On top of the quality it provides, the staffs really was very helpful. Especially Carelina(?) who was the best in every way possible to make the guest feel personal.

Hotel was in great location near the marina and food and shops. Staff were very pleasant and room was clean and comfortable. The only thing to be aware, if you rent a car, they don’t have parking so you need to park on the streets or underground in the marina which can be costly.
