Pass on Vogar

Not great—run down and dirty (mold in showers, etc). The breakfast was 17 euro for cold cuts and bread. Location is :15 to KEF, but there is nothing in this little town. Our beds were comfortable, and you can make the room quite dark, but I would not stay here again. For the price, it was the least clean/appointed place we stayed in Iceland.

We had a shared bathroom but it was clean and accessible; the shared hallway was a bit noisy into late hours; the front staff was super friendly and helpful. The 12 miles from the airport is not bad, but taxi rides are super expensive in Iceland and that needs to be considered. The property is close to the shore and a lake but the weather was bad when we were out there. The only dining within walking distance is a small wing place with great bear. Overall, we had a very good experience.

It is good if you have a car and need to wait for flight from KEF in the morning. Otherwise it is a bit far from airport. Room was much bigger than I expected but did not get to use it much because we had to leave very early morning. Interior is a bit dated but that is fine for this price. Staff were very nice and helped with parking.

Good location outside Reykjavík. Good to go on day trips and avoid the parking and traffic hassles of the capital. Easy parking right in front of your room.

It is a perfect spot if you come in late on a flight. The staff is very kind and welcoming. While an older motel, it is very well kept and clean. I slept great in the full size bed, which in Iceland is a true luxury!
