Love the theme! The woman who checked us in provided excellent service!! 6/5 The koi pond was cool. There was construction onsite which was unfortunate but understandable. The amenities in the room were very basic

Very fun stay right on the water! The hotel has a restaurant next door which is nice. They are currently expanding the hotel and there is ongoing construction until 2026, but the noise was not an issue

Really enjoyed our stay at the Viking. Pleasant staff. We had a great room overlooking the harbor. Despite the rain, we got a chance to try the hot tub with the thermal water. Having the restaurant nextdoor was a plus as was the included breakfast which had good variety. Liked being out of the hustle and bustle (and limited parking of the city.

Overall good stay. Room was very very small. Bed was small. The curtains really didn’t block out the midnight sun. Breakfast was really good with a lot of variety and seemed to be good quality. Overall didn’t find staff very friendly or helpful. Location was good if you have a rental car and it was a good base for day trips.
