Got home and seen that my suv was scraped on the lower bumper. It’s a new 2024 suv that I just got. The front desk people were wonderful. We had a great time but Valet is not up to par. Someone parked too close to the hillside in the parking lot and cause noticeable damage to my vehicle. Not cool. First time stayin at the gsr with my family and not a happy out come.

The hotel sends a link encouraging you to e-check in… but the link doesn’t work which really defeated the purpose and was rather aggravating since we wanted to check in and avoid any possible lines. Attempted to check in early on arrival but was told we couldn’t check in until 11 and that we’d be charged a $30 early check in fee. Customer service was mediocre, no one was really friendly or helpful. The room itself wasn’t very clean. Stains on all the linens, including towels. Stains that could’ve been easily wiped off on the countertops as well. Walls/doors are somewhat thin. We clearly heard our neighbors thru the adjoining room doors late into the night which was rather bothersome. Resort itself seems to be geared towards family-friendly activities. They have lots for the kiddos to do and their pool was nice. Lots of food options though I heard their buffet wasn’t great. Expect mark ups on their foods which is to be expected given the setting.

Overall this is a good hotel in Reno. It is oitside of downtown, which makes the area cleaner and quieter. However, it also means that there aren't many dining or shopping options close by except what the Casino offers and Walmart. Definitely not walkable. The room was nice, but the oval stools at the foot of each bed were horribly stained with who knows what. Gave a definite gross feeling to the room overall. We put our suitcases on them to cover it up. Beds were comfortable and looked clean. Staff we interacted with were friendly. We had an issue with our AC, they had a tech up to our room in minutes, and he got a fix that kept us cool. Tech was super kind and accommodating.

Lobby main floor is so disgusting. I didn’t want to leave the room. Why not have a smoking area? This isn’t the 1970s. Properties owners must smoke or senior leadership is just incompetent. It’s beyond negligence that you allow guests to openly damage the physical property and air quality
