There's just 1 hotel within a 10-kilometre radius of central Rennebu, so you'll have to move faster than a kid hyped up on red cordial if you want somewhere to stay close by.

In terms of a central location, you can't go past Gjesteheim Havdal - Hostel. It's a brilliant place to stay after you've explored your way through the centre.

One more option is the Quality Hotel Skifer, which is an awesome choice if you don't mind travelling 25 kilometres to the centre.

75 kilometres from Rennebu is Trondheim, where you can enjoy the Ringve Museum. Trondheim contains some great places to spend the night, including the Scandic Nidelven and Scandic Bakklandet. Alternatively, you can visit Dovre, 90 kilometres to the southwest of Rennebu. While in Dovre, take the time explore Viewpoint Snohetta.
