75 kilometres from Rennebu is Trondheim, where you can enjoy the Ringve Museum. Trondheim contains some great places to spend the night, including the Scandic Nidelven and Scandic Bakklandet. Alternatively, you can visit Dovre, 90 kilometres to the southwest of Rennebu. While in Dovre, take the time explore Viewpoint Snohetta. The Dombås Hotel and Dombås Motell are all good places to stay in Dovre.
