Parking was a mess. The hotel is undergoing massive re-development and the access to the parking garage is a muddy slushy mess.

Great stay in Narvik at the Royal. Great breakfast included. Old school bar restaurant attached. If you’re skiing and don’t have a car, it’s a 20-30 minute hike up the hill. Call a taxi. When you stay at Thon Hotel Narvik in Narvik, you'll be in the business district, just steps from Gondol and Stolheis.
The service staff is not friendly at all. I asked for a soft blanket or a sheet and they told me they didn't have any. They only seem to focus on groups of skiers.
