Book Quinta da Cheira hotels

When we arrived, the room we had was awful, bathroom tiles/ grout were dirty and moldy. Toilet and sink were ok. Overall a dingy room. My friend went to front desk to see if we could have another room, she was told not possible, hotel was booked. We figured it just 2 nights, we’ll bare it. Off we went to visit Coimbra. Upon our return (6 hours later) we noticed the AC was not working. Went to front desk, let them know we had an issue, a staff member came up to room to see what the issue was. She was very nice but unable to get it working. Eventually we were given another room, much better and bigger,1 king bed and single bed. However the bathroom tiles were awful as well. The water pressure is great and the towels are thick and absorbent.

Great breakfast, uniquely decorated room, rooftop area, great location

Conveniently located, the hotel was clean and quiet.

OK, a bit pricy for what it is.

Noisy room by stairs to restaurant

We were told breakfast was not included in our stay, which ended up being okay as we had to leave before it opened. Staff was helpful with suggestions for places to eat and stored our bags until our room was ready. The view from the bar was great and they had just put out new furniture on the patio.
