The hotel is in a perfect location, it was downhill from there. The walls and floor are paper thin and we could not sleep at night with the people upstairs stomping on the floor until 11p at night. The noise was constant. It was impossible for us to sleep. One night, we ran out of toilet paper - checked under the sink - nothing. In the middle of night, my daughter searched by front desk to find the toilet paper.

Lovely unesco approved property right beside Chateau Frontenac, fronting a garden (jardin) square park. Our small (expected) 3rd floor room had a beautiful view of the park and I even saw the lovely sunrise from our attic windows. There is no elevators so be prepared to trek up 39 stairs to 3rd floor (doable since every 3-5 steps turn at a landing), by the end we were feeling very fit. Steps away is the terrace of Fronteac and boardwalk, so we could easily walk everywhere in Vieux Quebec. Lovely staff were helpful and accommodating.

The room was advertised as “ very small room”, so can’t complain about that. But… bed was lumpy. Faucet in tiny sink was so loose you had to hold it in place with one hand as you turned it on and off. Tiny shower but it was clean. Location is excellent.

It is a most beautiful and exquisite city! We loved our time there. The hotel was in a great location. We were within walking distance to everything we wanted to see and do. Close to Hop-on Bus stop. Ubers and taxis easy to get.

The view of the St Lawrence River was one sliver through the trees if you contorted your body some. The room was tiny and had no seating area. Great location but three flights to our tiny room was not fun.

The location of the property is perfect. The beds were clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Parking was close and reasonable. But the photos of the rooms on Expedia, or at least the room we stayed, in are incredibly misleading and not even close to a reasonable representation of what you are paying for. The photos on Expedia show nicely renovated rooms in excellent condition. Nothing could be further from reality. The dust caked on the bathroom fan was disgusting. And the fan itself was so loud that it couldn't be left on. The heater in the bathroom next to the toilet was filthy and covered in rust. I will let you use your imagination as to why. The shower had rust and disgusting caulking. The hair dryer didn't work. The laminate flooring throughout was buckled, like it had been flooded several years ago and never repaired. There was 1 accessible plug in the room. The walls are a dark grey, making the entire room feel very unappealing. I was expecting a small room. But one in this condition? Not at all. Look at my photos and look at the photos on Expedia and see for yourself. A real shame, because the location is great.
