Overall a dated and unwelcoming property. The room is dreadful, banged up and dirty. Towels are threadbare and stained, as is the bedspread. Pillows and mattress are lumpy. There is dirt and stains all over the walls, sink is cracked and the only chair is all cracked and peeling vinyl. The front staff was uncaring and unfriendly, and tried to justify their pet fee when a far superior newer hotel across the highway was less than half the price (they also offer dog bowls, puppy bags, welcome treats etc). If I hadn't spent the past 10 hours on the road, with two small children and a puppy, I would have gone to the other hotel (which we stayed in last week). Getting through the night and will never return here to stay again.

Location is great for traveling between Ontario and the maritimes, right off the highway with restaurants and stores you can walk to. Wonderful hiking trail that goes to the rapids with an amazing suspension bridge. Only issue was the low water pressure in the shower and a couple of burnt out light bulbs over the vanity. Would definitely stay here again when passing through.

We had a wonderful stay here and will definitely book again whenever close to the region. They have wonderful staff, room is clean and properly maintained, gym and swimming pool, free breakfast, not pricy for the quality you get... you get it, we are 100% happy and think this one is the best of all three hotels i booked for our trip.

Good hotel bad pool

Rooms were good, hotel was fine, but the spa water was green, the pool water was 6” below the skimmer intake (so no skimming) and the sauna was dirty AND the timer made it so the sauna wouldn’t get hot enough for long enough to kill the inevitable bacteria that would love to be in that moist damp space.
