Tropical Deluxe Princess was a nice stay and somewhat accommodating. However the lights kept going out. The WiFi sucks. The buffets was ok but the food needs to be more covered and not so open to prevent contamination and easy spoilage. For the most part Customer Service was pretty good. Over all we had a nice time.

Hotel needs to improve their customer services. Since we arrived I had issues with my reservation. Staff all rude and not happy to provide a good customer service. Food variety was poor and taste was not that good. The air conditioner was not working properly. This hotel needs to hire better staff.

The hotel itself was nice and had great amenities, but the staff was not attentive at all. Multiple times we had to seat ourselves, and no one came by to take our drink orders — staff just walked right past us. The beach was only decent on the last day; the rest of the time it was full of seaweed. Everything was overcrowded, and we were never able to get a pool lounge chair because people left towels to reserve them all day. It was frustrating to see staff standing around, flirting, taking shots, and hanging out with young girls instead of doing their jobs.

We just got back from a week stay in a family room. We have traveled to multiple destinations and all inclusive resorts and below are a few things I wish I knew before going. First the good points. The property is very pretty. The wildlife is beautiful and very friendly. Bartenders, ice cream shop and coffee shops are all very friendly and had good service. The best part of the resort is the kid club the lady was extremely nice and my normally shy daughter loved it and begged to go there a little each day. Pools are kept clean Now the not so good. The Wi-Fi doesn’t work well at all and you have to use the ap to book reservations which makes eating anything other than the buffet for dinner difficult. The shower leaked into the toilet room. They have the ac set not to go lower than 68 and with the humidity and temperature the rooms was warmer than 70 at night. Had a hard time getting towels in the room 2 days it was after 5pm before they had towels back from laundry to restock the room. No wash rags are available. The restaurants are by reservation only and are small so it is hard to get reservations. Food is okay, but you could pay to upgrade your dinner for $65 a steak or pork chop. Approached multiple times by sales team to go meet about timeshare and wouldn’t take no for an answer until you are rude. Beach had a ton of seaweed that was not cleaned off the beach, so don’t expect a clean beach until fall according to workers. Refrigerator didn’t work

The property was ok. I was hoping they would've had more for kids since they sell the kids play pool so much and bowling and shows. The bowling in the bar is additional cost, which wasnt said and the kids zone closes at 5pm. Other than dinner nothing else to do when traveling with kids. The show was a big screen tv with a kids dance video wasnt even an actual show. The pool was good. The towel hut is a bit of a walk from the kids pool. Very inconvenient. They should have another one on each side. The food was meh, if your hoping for true dominican food, dont come here. We went to El Pilon which was suppose to be authentic dominican food. We requested platano maduros (which was on the menu) our server kept saying there was none and would chuckle (in a sarcastic way) when we requested really anything, so rude. The ONLY server that was awful. It took asking another server to get us some and he did it with so much love. The Italian restaurant was God AWFUL. Dont waste your time. The Japanese was the best, unfortunately. Wanted some true authentic DR food. Oh well. The room was spacious but the sheets were old and had pilled so bad they all felt disgusting. Requested new sheets and it was slightly better. I just slept with leggings and socks to not feel it. They serviced everyday, was fine. The service though was A+. Everyone was soooo kind. Made some of the crappy stuff we experience a bit better with the service. All in all, will not return or recommend for families.

We absolutely loved this property the first time we went in 2022 for our honeymoon but this trip we had some maintenance issues that weren’t taken serious and definitely made it less appealing. Also had a bit of rough time with ocean due to the seaweed lining the beach but heard that’s normal for the time of year we went this time. Would return again in hopes it gets better.

Travelled with family and small children
I like the cost of my stay. I didn’t like that housekeeping was stingy with giving towels for the room. I had a family room with 5 members. Everyday I had to ask for towels. They would only give me 5 big dry off towels and no face or body towels. When I asked for more housekeeping had an attitude. I also didn’t like that you had to make reservations at some of the restaurants on property.
