We got there and were told if there were any medical needs, we needed to use the clinic on the resort. Unfortunately my 3 y/o son slipped and fell requiring stitches. The entire place is a fall hazard. The clinic said immediately that he needed stitches and said they don’t do them and would send us by taxi to the hospital. We agreed. What they didn’t tell us is we had to pay $215.00 for their advice, pay for the taxi they called for us and go to the hospital they told the taxi to take us to. That place wanted $439.00 to assess him again and then another fee for stitches. We ultimately went to the ER (not recommended by the resort) and they did it for free and even fed my kid. The resort said it’s not their fault, we should have purchased travel insurance and that they won’t do anything to compensate. Not only did they wash their hands of it, they never checked on him during our 7 day stay.

The facilities and amenities at the hotel are good. The front desk and restaurant staff are very friendly and accommodating. The major issue i have during my stay is with the cart drivers, most of them are never ready to take you to your destination or asking you for a tip before a ride.
