This resort is a bit dated and had few frills about it. The service is great and the staff make it an enjoyable experience. However, the food did not have much flavor (except for the Japanese restaurant, which I highly recommend), the facilities/grounds/pool wasn't adequately maintained (hair in the pool, leaves on the lawn and pool, landscape equipment laying around). The beach was also inadequately maintained (except for the members lounge area, which should be the standard experience for all guests). All in all, a good family friendly resort if you want a quick getaway that allows the kids to have fun while you lounge at the pool bar. The staff are the real highlight of this place.

Property was as listed. We booked with two children listed ages 0-17 on Expedia and when we arrived at check in we were informed that any person over the age of 12 is considered an adult in this resort regardless of the booking error. Charged me an extra rate as an adult for a 16 year old that was already supposed to be booked into the hotel as a child (age 0-17 according to Expedia), and refused to take accountability for their mistake. I guess my pockets had to pay for it. Neither Expedia Nor Iberostar wanted to take responsibility for this. Very sour start to our stay, and honestly don’t plan on staying at this property again.

The quality of all inclusive beverages is disgusting, I know this is not the most luxury hotel inthe country but is hard to find a good spirit at the bars that you barely would like to drink... stingy logistics definitely

The Pool and activities were great but breakfast had soggy waffles and dried french toast had to take my Son to a place to eat outside the Resort. Most of the Buffet food is bland. The drinks are watered down and they ran out of cups and put them in kid size cups most of the day. The bartender yelled at me of accusing of cutting line when I didn’t very embarrassing. The sink in bathroom always clogged and no one even came to refill soap in shower which had little to begin with and despite calling front desk. Water is not restocked in fridge. I was really mislead to believe that this was 5 stars and Rating of 8.0. The only thing that is are their Events!

The pool was full of hair and trash the entire time we were there. The pool floor also needs repairs, as it has many uneven surfaces and small loose stones. The waiters aren't able to handle all the people at the hotel, and many are always angry. The food is ok, but they need more variety. A lot the people was smoking on the middle of jacuzzi pool and listen music which own speakers.

Really good stay except for the nagging agent who bothered us constantly about buying a membership (timeshare). He kept calling the room constantly during our peaceful times to try to bully us into buying the “membership.” Even as we were about to check out, he made a woman call the room to tell us that “we need to make the time” to see him to talk about the membership. Besides that, Samuel was great and Genesis! Samuel took really good care of us. It’s a very clean resort. Peaceful. Except for the nagging guy.
