The area is safe and the staff is super friendly. The floor of our room felt gritty and the shower was such a fine mist of water that bathing took quite a while. But we chose not to spend a lot of money, and for the money we spent, it was acceptable. Having coffee right downstairs was a plus!

The safe in the room didn't work and the staff didn't know how to get it working. The floor was never cleaned and made my socks black after walking around for a couple minutes. I had no towels, no shampoo, no soap. The shower head was broken and sprayed water everywhere causing the floor to become very wet. I was charged 120 pesos to have 2 kg of laundry cleaned. After being told it would only be 60 pesos. My hotel in downtown CDMX charged 30 pesos per kg. The hostess was very strange when I checked out. I gave her the key and she immediately started typing on her phone. I asked her if I needed to do anything else and she said no without looking up. Very strange. Never again.

This historical hotel - former casa- is situated two blocks from zocalo and booming streets filled with vendors. It was a great location, with helpful staff, and was a very unique Mexican hotel. It was very clean with WiFi and Netflix. The bathrooms are upstairs in your suite, the only downside of the 200 year old house was the water pressure, but that is to be expected in a historical home. They offer complimentary breakfast appetizers and coffee. Would stay here again!

A hotel we recommend.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Hotel Aroma. It was conveniently located and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was spacious and the King-size bed was comfortable. Also, the coffee is delicious! However, it was a bit chilly in the mornings when we ate breakfast because the door of the foyer is open and the temperature was only 8 degrees!

Falta de respeito com os clientes.

Infelizmente tivemos problemas,o quarto dado ao meu amigo era muito pequeno e sem janelas e nem água quente para banho. Trocou para um melhor,mas desligam o aquecimento da água à noite e portanto tomei banho frio tanto a noite quanto no dia seguinte pela manhã,mesmo tendo reclamado. Ficamos muito bravos. E não tem elevador.

Lo que me gustó: No te llega el ruido de la calle, la regadera funciona bien, la cama es muy cómoda, tienen ventilador y un buen televisor con Netflix. La planta baja es un café restaurante y por $130.00 pesos puedes tomar un buen desayuno. La atención del personal fue buena. Por otra parte: La habitación que me tocó es pequeña, sin vista al exterior y con muy poca ventilación. No te ponen tapete para cuando sales de la regadera, tampoco shampoo ni crema. Busqué la experiencia de una casa antigua en el centro histórico y eso fue lo que tuve. En general, todo bien.

No servía la pantalla de la habitación y nunca la arreglaron y no nos dieron la opción de cambiarme de cuarto y la regadera no salía casi nada de agua deberían de checar esos aspectos de ahí todo lo demás muy bien
