Check in time was supposed to be 4 pm, room wasn’t ready until after 5 pm. One other couple were waiting for their room to be cleaned as well when we arrived. Only one person on reception do it took quite awhile for customers to be processed (at least 5 of us waiting) Our Room had a very strong chemical odour when we went to it. We opened the window and turned on AC to see if that would help. Then went out for dinner and came back. Smell was still very strong and so I went to the front desk and explained the problem. A new Young lady at reception was very nice and she called someone who brought a large fan over. He could smell the odour as well. But that didn’t fix the problem. This young man ( very nice) then went & got a deodorizer. This spray plus fan finally seemed to help. By 8:15 the room was acceptable but with still a lingering smell. (No other room was offered to us.) I’m Not complaining about the staff as they are all very young , but someone in more senior mgmt needs to help train the younger staff in how to address problems like this and what they can do to make it better for customers .

We bring our dogs here. They have special rooms and floors for dogs and lots of walking areas with convenient poop stations. Human wise, the rooms are wonderful. Fridge, microwave, hair dryer, freezer, and free breakfast. You might pay a little more for this pet friendly hotel, but it is well worth it!

Not good for kids

I loved the hotel itself although we will never be staying here again as a family with two young kids that were excited for the waterslide. It was only open 3x a day for a couple hours each time and each was heavily supervised by a man that was unfriendly. The kids got in trouble for putting their hands up in the air on the slide, and not exiting the pool ladder fast enough. The man couldn’t speak English so he would speak into his phone and show us the translated version and once even grabbed my son’s shoulder. My son even asked if he could go down on his knees, the man nodded yes and then my son went on his knees and got yelled at ( before we knew he didn’t speak English) Overall made the experience feel very uncomfortable.
