Book Prince Alfred Hamlet hotels

We stayed in Cottage 2 and it was the most spectacular room we have ever stayed in! We refer to it now as the “perfect room”. I loved all the light and the glass wall that opened up for lovely fresh air. The grounds were beautiful and inviting. We walked around the Park Run, admired the olive and oak trees, and grape plants, and petted the donkeys. The hosts were terrific—warm and welcoming—and the breakfasts were extraordinary. We look for to visiting Duikersdrift again.

Tulbagh is a great base to stay for a few days and Mountain Manor is the best accommodation you could hope for. A short drive from the lovely little town with great restaurants and wine farms. Stunning scenery and hiking trails.

Somehow we got a Standard cottage which I think is a Hotels.com glitch but we were happy with it. Not many other people otherwise the cottages may have been a bit close together, also quite near the road (Pinotage cottage). Nice pool and spa and deck that looks out onto a dry field with zebra and springbok. Nice view onto the mountains. Well-situated.

Have been to the Tulbagh Boutique Hotel on many occasions and it was a pleasure to go back back The staff are friendly, helpful and work as a splendid team together. They set the standards for others to follow.
