The location was perfect 5 minutes to the airport, and there were plenty of dining and shopping area in walking distance. The hotel did serve an amazing complimentary breakfast, they also have a laundry room which was perfect, we didn't have to carry our dirty clothes home.

The room was comfortable and clean. The free breakfast had a variety of foods available, including fruit and hot items. The shuttle service was reliable. The hotel did not have a restaurant and there was nothing available nearby.

Early flight to catch stay

Convenient to airport, but staff seemed uninterested in helping. Room was small wirh even smaller bathroom. It was fine since it was only a short stay to catch early flight. But underwhelming.

We stayed for 2 nights at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Portland Airport, and overall the experience was just okay. The positives: the hallways were clean, our room had no odor, and the bed sheets were clean. However, there were some negatives that stood out. Housekeeping did not come by to clean the room or pick up garbage during our stay. On our first night, there was a blackout, and the next morning the elevator was out of service. Since the hotel didn’t have a wheelchair available, my mom, who has a disability, had no choice but to walk up the stairs to our second-floor room, which was very difficult for her. Breakfast was decent but nothing special. Another downside was being charged $10 per day for parking, which added up quickly. Overall, the stay was manageable for two nights, but between the lack of daily cleaning, accessibility issues, and extra fees, it wasn’t as comfortable as we had hoped.

I really liked the proximity to the airport and a shopping plaza. It was a bit challenging to park since the parking lot was being redone. I do however understand that when I return, the parking will be great! I also wish that there would have been a cream cheese option at breakfast. Overall, the room was amazing, the bed and pillows very comfortable and everyone that I spoke to was kind and helpful.
