In the heart of Gatsby country

Lovely, well-appointed Hilton in Port Washington/Roslyn. Nice gym, indoor cool & hot pools. The area is steeped in Gatsby ambience. Convenient to many terrific atractions: North Hempstead Beach Park, Sands Point Preserve, many museums, harbors, USMMA etc.

Efficient and lovely. We booked an accessible room and they had a wheelchair for us to borrow. The pool was small but clean and there was a hot tub! The options in the restaurant were limited (my husband is vegan) so we didn't end up eating there, sadly. The biggest issue was the location of our room, on the first floor right past the front desk and near the elevator. There was a wedding going on. It was incredibly noisy.

Would not give us a complimentary water as Hilton Club members because we booked through Hotel.com. Lights would flicker out of the blue. The black out shade broke. The hot side of the sink handle leaked. The bathroom “barn door” would not stay shut. Not worth $208 for a Sunday night stay.
