The staff speak good English. They will go out out the way to accommodate you and answer questions. My only issue was that the room had some cosmetic issues such as pin holes in the curtin shade and a floor lamp that was wobbly and maybe unstable. Your right on the beach. We had a pleasant stay at Plaza Hotel Premier Fukuoka. The room was the usual compact size for a Japanese hotel, but the central location was excellent — perfect for exploring the city.
