Very nice place to stay for short term. Lacked storage for longer stays. Everything was clean and tidy. Would definitely stay again

The host was wonderful and everything was very smooth. They went to extra effort to ensure that we had all our needs met during our stay. The cabin is lovely and charming and right on the shore as shown. Please be aware that the access to the shore may not be for everyone. It created no difficulties for us and we are a couple of 71 years of age. However, it should be noted that someone who has a difficulty with walking, may not be able to access the shore directly from the cabin. There are other access points up and down the shore within a very short drive. There is a lovely little café that is also a general store and also allows for Wi-Fi on your phone so it can be accessed while in the car as well. There is Wi-Fi in the cottage and everything works smoothly as well as the wood stove, which kept us very warm and cosy along with a couple of small Hydro heaters. We both highly recommend this place to stay well in the islands. We hope to come back.

This is a gem of a place. From the spacious house to its gorgeous view… a fab grocery store and a pub, both steps away. The sunsets! And best of all, the enchantment of the place; Adele’s attention to the natural beauty of HG is incorporated so artistically into the garden and in the house… we noticed new things of beauty every day.The kitchen has everything you need. And Adele is attentive and helpful. It is obvious she has put a lot of love into this home. There is nothing sterile about it at all! There’s nothing we would change about our time there.

This tiny home was amazing. Close to the beach with all the amenities you need for a relaxing holiday. If you are looking for a place to make special memories, this is it!

Lovely site and lodge. Dining in was good. Regarding practical issues: No elevator in lodge which would have been helpful for people that have mobility issues or heavy luggage (or both). A toilet paper holder would be handy and prevent twisting around and groping the basket for it. Also a hook on the door to hang a bathrobe or extra towel in the small shower/toilet space. No desk to work at either. Improvised with the small side table.

This property is centrally located with many sites within easy driving distance on Haida Gwaii. A nearby wharf is within walking distance, great for an evening stroll. The Loft is quiet, and the kitchenette has enough amenities to cook meals and prepare lunches. Having the washer and dryer is a bonus! The shower is full size. The owner, Cath, is available to answer any questions and is there to help. The loft is suitable for a couple or 2 friends with a separate bedroom and a futon as a second bed. A friend and I stayed for 4 days. We were very pleased with the Loft. Please note, there are stairs to climb up to the Loft, so you must be mobile enough to climb stairs each day. Since we are quite active, this posed no problem for us. I would certainly stay at the Loft if I ever visit Haida Gwaii again!
