A lovely old chateau with beautiful grounds that we enjoyed walking. On-site dining was quite good. Very quiet and relaxing

Property is well positioned close the river. Staff friendly and helpful. They welcome dogs, which is what attracted us in first place. Lovely walk along the river. Big car park opposite. Good restaurant with excellent food.

I absolutely loved this hotel . From the moment we checked in with the friendliest of welcomes the staff were fantastic. We parked opposite the hotel . The room was gorgeous with a view overlooking the loire. It was a superior double and was simply fantastic for the price we paid. A short stroll along the river front takes you to bars and retaurants. I would not hesitate to stay here again. . The bar prices were very reasonable too. We will definately come here again

Bertrand Was an excellent host and provided me with a timely email on the extras I required and also with details on good restaurants near by. Clean hotel and gay location for the centre of Saumur. Excellent breakfast

This place is impeccable. In spite of it being in an historic building it has been lovingly maintained. Our triple room had an enormous bedroom with twin sinks. The beds were in separate rooms and there were original paintings on the walls. Breakfast was very good. Stay there if you’re in the area.
