Porozina has only 1 hotel within a 10-kilometre radius of its centre, so book on the double if you're keen to stay close by.

As close to the city centre as you'll get, Pansion Tramontana is a fantastic place to catch some Zs after a long day of exploring.

You may also like to stay at the Villa Stefanija, which you'll find 20 kilometres away. Or perhaps the Allegro Hotel, just a distance of 12 kilometres from Porozina. We'd also recommend the Amadria Park Milenij and the Remisens Premium Hotel Ambasador. The first is 25 kilometres away from town, while the second is 25 kilometres away.

Attractions and Hotels Near Porozina

If you've still got itchy feet, why not venture out and explore more of the Croatia region? The area is home to some amazing beaches, coastal plains, forests and mountains. After staring slack-jawed at nature's masterpieces, visit well-known tourist attractions like ruins and castles. If the weather is putting on a show (or even if it's not), you could also try out some popular local pastimes like skiing.

Moscenicka Draga is another place where you can lay back and make friends with the room service menu. Located 11 kilometres northwest of Porozina, it's where you'll discover the Lovran Harbour and Medveja Beach. If you'd like to spend a night or two in Moscenicka Draga, consider the Smart Selection Mediteran Hotel and Villa Kleiner. Alternatively, you could stay in Labin, 12 kilometres to the west of Porozina, where you can choose from the Girandella Tourist Village and Albona Hotel & Residence. If you stay in Labin, be sure to check out Rabac Beach and the Rabac Ferry Port.

You'll find some awesome activities in Opatija. Park Angiolina, Slatina Beach and the Casino Rosalia are up there with the best. This regional centre is situated 25 kilometres north of Porozina and has a population of 8,000. Why not also stop by and check out the Open Air Summer Theater and the Port of Opatija? The Grand Hotel Adriatic I and Grand Hotel Adriatic II are some of the recommended places to stay in Opatija.

This was the most wonderful stay in an elegant hotel along the Croatian Riviera. Our room was sumptuous and luxurious, tastefully decorated with a stunning view over the bay. We had a balcony where we could sit and take in the view, the bed was very comfortable indeed and we had all the provisions we needed, including bathrobes and slippers for the lovely pool and spa. We had a friendly welcome on arrival and we could park our car on a meter outside which was free after 8pm. The breakfast was unbelievable! So much choice, very good quality food, in a large spacious setting with white linen tablecloths and elegant satin curtains. The whole experience was truly amazing, we loved every minute of it!
