When you a stay at Parador de El Hierro in Valverde, you'll be on the beach, just steps from El Hierro Beaches and Playa de la Arena.
This is a really lovely hotel in a beautiful area. The rooms are comfortable and well proportioned. The only challenge currently is the breakfast/restaurant area where the staff are excellent but there were not enough of them. Hopefully that can be resolved in due course.
