Perfect hotel to stay if you don’t want to spend a lot of $$ on the Xcaret Hotels. This hotel have their own entrance to the Xcaret Park, Xplor is only like 20 min walking(5 min in car). They do offer transportation to the parks, and Xcaret have an office in their Lobby where you can buy tickets to the park. Staff was friendly, hotel have beautiful views and a lot of stuff to do. Food was ok nothing from another world but decent. Only thing I didn’t like was their alcohol drink,to simple and no flavor in them. But overall it’s an ok hotel.

The female staff at the front desk and the servers were rude. Everyone was always trying to sell you a club membership. We were only able to eat at one of the nice restaurants once. They always claimed they were full. There was a fee for room service. Our room was very clean although around the pool areas could use some attention. I was disappointed. We should’ve listened to the people that gave reviews prior to us going. They were right about this place

Beautiful hotel and great staff

The property was beautiful and plenty to do. The food at the buffet could be better but I did like having plenty of options. I just wish there was more Mexican food offered. I was expecting a lot of Mexican dishes. I do appreciate that they had restaurant options where you can make reservations. So there was definitely a wide range of dining options which made the experience more ideal. The staff was amazing. The beds were comfortable and views all over the property were incredible.

I’ve stayed at other A inclusive resorts and experience was much better, lounging at pool and lagoon areas with no one serving us. No greeting at arrival meaning drink and excessive waiting time to check in. Buffet staff was very good and hard working. Area was nice. Chose it for convenience to Xcaret, don’t think I’ll stay there again.

The hotel was clean and beautiful, but it was hard to find something. Good to eat, and no, I am not a picky eater. Even the desserts were not great. If you are going stick to the natural stuff, fruit and just basics. Another thing I did not like was the people around the hotel that you finger. Very nice, but no, they just want to sell you a timeshare, and it was getting pretty annoying. Please watch out for that.

Our stay at Hotel Xcaret Occidental was amazing. The food was excellent, fresh, and with plenty of variety for every taste. The service was outstanding—everyone was kind, attentive, and always willing to help. What impressed us the most was their special care with gluten-free options. They went above and beyond to provide safe, delicious meals and made us feel completely at ease. Overall, everything about this hotel is top-notch: the facilities, the rooms, the cleanliness, the atmosphere, and above all, the hospitality. Definitely a place we would return to and highly recommend!
