The quality of the food was average at best. The facilities are incredible. The rooms are very nice and the staff if helpful and friendly. Very worth the money. But don’t expect top knock food. I would go agian.

Omlets were great. Had to ask for bacon each day. Said we got a room upgrade, but traveled with 8 people, 6 who did not have the upgrade. Our rooms were all the same. Staff very friendly. Staff cleaning, painting, sweeping constantly. Lagoon was very calm, if your not a Royal member, the bar was off limits at the lagoon, they did have a person who would get you drinks though. Never went to the shows, didn't seem very exciting. They could communicate what activities were going on, but never saw anything about them. The restaurants are ok, Oriental was our favorite. Good resort for the price overall. Plan on walking as the resort is huge. Saw monkeys, iguanas, deer, flamingos and coatis.

Overall, the property was very nice. We had an excellent time and the food was decent most occasions very well. Everything was in minimal walking distance. Still a lot of walking but walkable ocean view is gorgeous. The breakfast club was by far the best breakfast out of the two places to eat for breakfast. Absolutely amazing experience.

We got back from the resort today. This was a family trip - 4 adults 3 kids ages 4-7y. Check in: Simple, smooth, quick. We were able to book two of the à la carte restaurants at the same time (more on the restaurants later) Property: Very green, many animals and birds, clean-ish. Room: An average all-inclusive room with lots of closet space, the bathroom had black mold. The mattresses are very soft and uncomfortable. The balcony was great, but we didn’t really spend any time there because of the monkeys. We love that they live at the property, we love watching them, but had no desire to interact with them at all. They get uncomfortably friendly with the resort guests, and I was a little concerned for the kids. Kids club: Amazing! New and beautiful and clean. We loved it, the kids loved it, 10/10! Beach: Great for kids! Shallow warm water, no waves, lots of fish and wildlife to watch. We really liked it! Buffet food (main buffet) It was ok. At any given day we had a selection is at least one fish dish, several meat and chicken options, fruits and vegetables. No one went hungry. À la carte restaurants: Mexican 0/5 Terrible terrible food! Everything was dry, tasted terrible, and we left after just 40 min to eat at the buffet. The manager approached us to find out why, got the feedback, and did exactly nothing. Steak 0/5, but for a different reason. The food was ok, average. But two ppl in our group got violently ill after eating at the steak restaurant. They were so sick the
