The property was gorgeous loved all the pools and Mayan ruins. The staff were great Siri Mosses Genner were all great. The only thing that was missing was access to a hot tub.

From check in to check out you will be amazed by the friendly staff and things to see and do. There is wildlife throughout the park to watch and enjoy including monkeys, deer , coatis, Iguanas, birds, qheckos and more! They have entertainment through out the park both day and night. Late night dining options that are delicious vs just your regular hotdog..pizza is the best wood fire pizza from 6 PM to 6 AM! So can grab even if early flight or excursion. Canal running through that has a boat to and from Xcaret Park...which is discounted for hotel guests and amazing to see. There are a Lot of stairs and walking so that needs to be kept in mind for some. Pool is lovely, beach area is kept clean and also has entertainment. Serving staff at pool and beach serve all..not just the tippers. Resort opened the sports bar early for the NFL playoffs...Amazing resort.

Property was beautiful. Staff were very polite and hardworking. Highly recommend Xcaret and Xplor parks. It was the best part of my stay! Food needs improvement. Buffet is only open certain times of the day. “Restaurants” on the property were just plated resort food. Had to make reservations for the “restaurants” which was totally unnecessary and not worth it honestly. I was hoping for authentic Mexican food, which I did not receive. I pretty much ate the same couple things each day.

Pros: Plenty of beautiful plants and wildlife like deer. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were dated and could use a refresh but everything worked as expected. The bed was comfortable as well as the pillows. Alcohol is completely free but limited choices on beer. Cons: For a 7 day 6 night stay we were told on arrival that we could only eat at the restaurants 3 nights we were there and the rest of the time we could eat at the choice of 2 buffets available, 3 buffets during lunch. On top of this for lunch none of the restaurants except buffets were open. Limiting overall choices of food to eat since each buffet served the samethings basically. The buffets were horrible. Basically high school cafeteria food at best and not always fully cooked or even slighty hot. I had uncooked rice twice and the item choices were very limited which included hot dogs and hamburgers. Hot dogs were inedible to me and tasted horrible. Hamburger patties were frozen meat that was highly overcooked. The best item we had was a ceviche they had at the cold bar. We tried 4 of 7 available restaurants during our stay. Every restaurant we ate at the food would show up to our table luke warm at best but never hot or even close. Not a true All-Inclusive Experience. Room service is not included. We only had our mini fridge filled 3 out of 6 days during our stay. If you are a foodie and want a good 3 meals daily do not stay here you will be disappointed as we were.

We went with a group of friends and we all could find something we wanted to do the pools, the beach, the food and all the animals around the hotel were so amazing! We went to the park next-door for a day and that was such a fun and easy excursion!
