Location, location, location.
Cons first. The picture shown is the property we booked but we ended up in the (slightly) smaller one next door. (An occurrence that apparently has happened before). We knew it had a mezz floor bedroom when we booked it but it proved to be too hard to access and the ceiling height made it very claustrophobic ...

Located in Meze, Hotel Restaurant du Port is near the beach, within a 5-minute walk of Étang de Thau and Plage du Tambourin.
Staff was great, there was no toilet paper or towels in my room, but I got that sorted fast. Great room, view, the staff is great too. Will be back.
