Sorry! As much as we've tried, we haven't been able to track down any places to crash in the centre of Pinheiral.

There's no need to work yourself into a tizzy though. Porto Real is around 35 kilometres away and has some great hotels, including the Cegil Hotel Boulevard and Scala Residence Hotel.

Additionally, if you’ve always wanted to go mountain biking, rock climbing and mountain climbing, you'll have the opportunity to in this corner of Brazil.

After more options? Hole up like a rockstar in Resende (just try not to wreck the joint). Located 50 kilometres away and home to Militar da AMAN Museum and Resende Shopping, it's bound to be an adventure to remember!
