It was very pleasant staying here

Maw's Place was very clean grandma's style home. Full of county charm. Everything works. We enjoyed it when the cows came over the hill in the mornings and spent most of the day around the fenced back and side yard.

The driveway in is a little intimidating at first but it leads to a great private setting and a very comfortable cabin. The sounds of the creek are with you all the time creating a very relaxing atmosphere. The wildlife was fun to watch and the property is very easy to walk around in. Overall, it's a very pleasant place to get away and unplug for a while.

Hikes were amazing in the area.

Me and my wife and our kids decided to stay here while we visit family. This place is perfect. The views are great it’s very quiet and simple. We stayed here the weekend and didn’t have one thing to complain about. It’s close to a lot of restaurants so it’s easy to get to stuff. The house is extremely clean and cozy we will definitely be back. Sidenote, the person we rented from was very nice to us on the phone when we had questions she was very patient with us and very sweet thank you I will definitely be back and would recommend this to a friend or family.

We needed to get away and it was still too cold to camp (for me, lol!). This retreat was just perfect - comfy and welcoming and private. Easy access to the nearby town but really feels away from it all. We can't wait to get back!
