Dated but cozy room, good facilities and the staff are really friendly. Hot tub and pool really clean. Breakfast was amazing, impressive considering it is free! Can see why this place has such good reviews.

Located in San Simeon, Cavalier Oceanfront Resort is by the ocean, a 1-minute drive from San Simeon State Park and 5 minutes from San Simeon Pier.
The view and the amenities are absolutely beautiful. The fire pits & games on the yard were fabulous. Definitely made our stay more fun. The staff was friendly and we can't wait to go back. The fact that it's dog friendly makes our life and stay complete.

With a stay at Silver Surf Motel in San Simeon, you'll be near the beach, within a 10-minute drive of Moonstone Beach Park and San Simeon State Park.
We love staying at the Silver Surf! Rooms are very clean and we love the high ceilings with ceiling fans. The window shutters are great too! (Only issue was our tv didn’t work- but fortunately it was not a big deal since we didn’t have anything we really wanted to watch anyway.)
