Past Due Remodel

It is in the middle of a remodel and let's say it is definite NEED of a remodel. Ice machine broken on multiple floors, dirty carpets, construction everywhere, gaps in the door frames, etc. It has sadly fallen off.

The water pressure for the shower was not very good and the water got all over the floor. The pillows were a little too soft. Other than that everything was amazing.

Not at all like online photos

I was shocked this was a Hilton hotel. For the same price or less we could have stayed at the Arizona biltmore. My daughter chose this hotel because of the water park, which was about 1/4 mi away through parking lots and construction in 107 degree heat. When I requested plates, bowls, and silverware because I had to bring my own meals, they brought .... 2 styrofoam plates and flimsy plastic forks!!! The water park has seen better days probably two decades ago... dirty and ripped and uncomfortable lounge chairs (retro style with no cushions). Amenities were poor overall. Most of all I was completely disappointed by how different the property looked from the photos online.

The pools were the best the lazy river was a little too warm. The main pools were perfect. The main lobby was under construction. There was a lot of construction going on. I wish we would’ve known there is no restaurants at the hotel no room service. The service was very friendly.

Unfortunately this stay was not great. Upon checking in we arrived to renovations happening to the entire property. Nowhere on the booking site was this called out to Guests. The rooms had partially been renovated. But are in desperate need to complete. There were cracks in the walls, old furnishings and BUGS... Our room had ants, roaches and a wasps nest on the outside patio. Its unfortunate because this resort is a desired location and we have stayed before with great experiences. When speaking with Management regarding our stay, they were pleasant, apologetic, calming and compensated us for our stay. Thank you Hilton Staff for that.

I understand that this property is under construction, but the rooms were filthy. The carpet look like it was from 1980 and every stain on the carpet was present. There was no security or lifeguards at the pool people were getting things stolen, no staff around to control children running all over the place

We booked two nights at this "resort" as an end to a long RV road trip. All of the photos and information online indicated several restaurants and pool areas, which the kids we excited about. When we arrived, half of the property was under construction, and only one of the restaurants was open, with limited dining hours. The room we checked into had stained carpets, a shower faucet that did not function properly, and a lamp that would not turn on. There were crumbs in the chair by the desk.

We stayed in an Agave King Suite in the north building. The Good: This property is convenient to Phoenix, Sky Harbor Airport & Scottsdale. The nachos at the on-site restaurant were good. Service was hit and miss. The lazy river is fun and probably the only thing keeping this property afloat, no pun intended. The closet lights up inside. I enjoyed sitting on the balcony with a glass of wine. I slept well on the bed. The fridge, while small, was quite deep and held a surprising amount. There was plenty of hot water. The Bad: This property is extremely run down. I didn't want to believe the reviews, but it's true. I thought by booking an "Agave" suite we would avoid that, but no. The rooms are tiny and dark. The way the pictures are taken is deceiving. No microwave or bar sink. The toilet/shower area was extremely small. Large people would struggle. The property has really been let go. Stairs had huge chipped tiles...lawsuit waiting to happen. Floor tiles all over property had sticky spills & stains. There was garbage. The planters are not cared for. They empty or had dead/dying plants. Those that survived were overgrown and unkempt. It was sad. The main fountain at the entrance was dry. Part of the pool was taped off and dry. Internet went out. Directions to makeshift lobby were non-existent. They won't let you use a baggage cart. Old signage to "amenities" that no longer exist. Walk by the huge, stinky dumpster to access the water park. Smell pot smoke the entire stay.

Pool staff - rude to everyone, felt like motel staff energy. Yikes Rooms - dirty, run down, horrible beds, rash after sleeping in the beds! Check in - smooth Noise - everywhere, rooms, staff, cars, construction Pools - water slide off half the time, people drinking and eating in pools. Overall we wouldn’t stay here again. Customer service has gone out the window!

Staff were very friendly. There was some construction going on however it never messed with our stay. The river ranch was fun and the main pool stays open later. I would say the food items at ranch were pricey and no food is allowed. Overall a great resort.
