We have a very good stay at the Microtel Inn & Suites By Wyndham. The room was clean, and the hotel is well kept. Its little things make a difference in your stay at the hotel. We like the fact that the hotel used "Dove" for their choice of soap. We think you can put more than 1 trash can in the room. We did have a trash can in the bathroom. I not sure if they don't have them or my room was missing another trash can.

The Hotel is very clean and nice. The staff is friendly. HOWEVER, the housekeeping is horrendous and the Staff knowledge towards fixing issues is lacking. The towels were hung neatly but were covered in lipstick and facing out.How the staff did not notice this is beyond me. On the floor were potato chips and crumbs from. Leftover sandwich. When we told the management we got apologies but there seemed no concern over who cleaned the room and what could be done. NOTE: they later did offer a discount for our troubles, but, it never should have happened in any hotel with a trained staff.

It was perfectly suitable for a night’s rest. Not luxurious but very clean. Just would have liked a lamp by the bed instead of the cube light fixture. There was not much light in the room and what was there was harsh. Bathroom was fine and had better lighting. It seemed to have good fixtures for disabled/elderly in the bathtub.There was a fold-out seat.

Location was easy access, check in was uncomplicated and room size was nice. A couple things to note: there was no blanket on our beds and none in the closet or drawers to use. It was only a top sheet and another cover on top the same weight as a sheet. We were able to go down to the front desk and get 2 comforters. Just not sure why they weren't already on the bed. The mattresses were comfortable. The breakfast was somewhat disappointing. Make your own waffles, 2 kinds of cereal and small sausages, no eggs. Another older guest was quite disappointed as was I about the selection of food. Not an unpleasant stay and the staff was friendly, just a couple inconveniences.
