Lovely location in a beautiful river setting

Hotel is very nice in a beautiful location on the River Ilz. Fabulous hiking trails at the doorstep. Our room was good, with a balcony, but the view was lacking. Maybe a river view room could be requested? Breakfast featured great coffee, perfectly done boiled eggs, cheese, yogurt and fruit. The bed was comfortable and the lighting was good for reading. Loved the quirky little knick-knacks in the common areas. Enjoyed the fresh trout at the restaurant.

Die Lage ist perfekt für ausgedehnte Spaziergänge mit und ohne Hund. Insbesondere im Sommer bei grosser Hitze, da sich die Hunde jederzeit in der Ilz abkühlen können. Die Einrichtung meines Zimmers ist deutlich in die Jahre gekommen, Essensangebot für Vegetarier dürftig, Veganer negativ - ein Umdenken hier wäre angebracht. An der Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft des Personals kann auch gearbeitet werden. Gäste wurden sehr pampig abgefertigt. Trotz der perfekten Lage werde ich mir bei weiteren Besuchen in Passau - die sich im Übrigen immer lohnen - auf eine andere Unterkunft zurückgreifen.

Lage ist abseits aber wunderschön. Unser Zimmer war direkt über dem Küchendunstabzug, dass schon vormittags das Fenster nicht geöffnet werden konnte. Der Zimmerservice wurde einfach vergessen. Daher einfach enttäuschend, der Gast ist nicht König. Fehler des Personals werden dann "Umweltschutz" genannt, aber nicht vom Preis abgezogen. Das habe ich noch nie erlebt.

Vorsicht, ungenaue Angaben!! Leider wurde uns beim Bezahlen für zwei Tage Unterkunft mitgeteilt, dass angeblich das Frühstück nicht im Preis inbegriffen. Vorher wurde uns jedoch keinerlei Hinweis darauf gegeben! Es wurde uns morgens ein Tisch zugewiesen, ohne Mitteilung darüber, dass das Frühstück extra bezahlt werden muss. 90€ für dieses Zimmer incl. Frühstück sind einfach zuviel, so doll war es nun wirklich nicht!!! Freunde, die direkt gebucht hatten, bekamen das Frühstück übrigens inclusive. Aus der Reservierung bei Expedia ging nicht eindeutig hervor, dass das nur der Preis für die Unterkunft sein soll. Also aufpassen, sonst ärgert man sich doch sehr!!!

meine Anreise war Montags,obwohl Ruhetag war und die Gäste erst ab 18:00 Uhr sich anmelden konnten,bekam ich meinen Zimmerschlüssel vorab. Montags ist auch kein Essen möglich.

mitten im Wald

Die Pension ist klein, liegt versteckt idyllisch im Wald an einem Bach und hat einen Biergarten. Anscheinend kann man in der Nähe mit Eseln ausreiten.
