Overall the condition of the room (68A) was better than expected. Clean, well maintained (with a few notable exceptions), comfortable and well appointed with appliances. The bathroom and shower were very clean and tidy. Noteworthy disappointments in the unit included the significantly water stained lower cabinets in the kitchen and bathroom. Undersink cabinet hinges are loose and door bumpers are in need of replacement. Worst of all was the condition of the lightweight bathroom door. From the exterior it appears normal but once inside it’s obvious the door had been kicked or bashed from the outside and a large crack remained in the door under the handle, warping the door and making closing it difficult. The “repair" was inadequate. Management should have replaced the door. The walls of the unit are thin. We could hear one nextdoor neighbor on the phone in argument. A regular sofa couch would have been more comfortable to sit on than the sleeper sofa present in the room.
Outdoors, the Oasis compound appeared clean and well maintained. Had we more time, we would love to have enjoyed time in the nearby swimming pool and Jacuzzi. Despite the few squawks already discussed above, we have already talked about coming back to Oasis Resort for another stay.
