We felt misled by the bed description. We went out of our way to choose king beds throughout our 17 day trip & this was the only hotel that did not have a king bed for us. They said that it was a “European king.” We did not find that at any other hotel. The bed was a queen. My husband is 6 feet 8 inches tall and has linebacker shoulders so the bed was a tight fit for us. Other than that, the hotel was nice. The rooms were large; the staff friendly and helpful & the food was delicious. They should, however, be more clear in the bed description. I would not have booked the room if it was not a king bed.

Very good hotel Bed was comfortable Room was spacious and clean Nice view of river Great staff Only complaint I have is that I booked a king bed online and we only got a double bed Apparently no king beds in this hotel although web site says has king beds Staff tried to cover it up by saying this is the standard in Europe that a double is a king Well I have been in Ireland for 9 days and 3 hotels that I stayed in had king beds No compensation was offered by hotel

Lovely hotel, excellent breakfast the full Irish was freshly made and delicious. Good buffet selection also. Clean rooms with nice decor. Nice terrace by the waterside.
