Oxford City Centre accommodation with spa

The hotel is very interesting with it's prison history, though that is also slightly a hinderance. We were in the Houses of Correction and it didn't really feel part of the hotel, you had to leave the main hotel travel across the courtyard to another building that actually felt a little bit like a travel lodge heading to our room. The staff were amazing though, from check-in, to room service, to breakfast and checkout - So absolutely nothing to fault there! I'd just recommend requesting a room in the main part of the hotel as that might be better than what we had.

This is definitely your standard mid-tier hotel. Nothing was overtly wrong, but the property definitely shows its age and would benefit from some upgrades. The location is great.

We had a wonderful stay at The Store. It is perfectly situated in the center of Oxford. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The included breakfast was far more than the usual American continental breakfast with several nice options you can order from a menu. The onsite restaurant was great and the rooftop bar was a bonus with an amazing view.

Better than expected. Quiet. Close to train n town.
