Book Oulad Slama hotels

I was on a two week tour of Morocco and stayed one night at the Urban Hotel in Kenitra while visiting a family friend. The check-in process was quick and smooth, and the staff were polite and welcoming throughout the stay. The only disappointing part was the breakfast. We were hoping for a more traditional Moroccan breakfast, but instead it was more of a standard continental buffet you would find in many hotels around the world. They did serve Moroccan tea and there were a couple of cold msemen, which was a nice touch. The breakfast itself was good, just not quite the authentic Moroccan experience we were expecting. I imagine the hotel is mainly catering towards business travellers. But all in all it was a very nice stay

Pools were mostly closed. No easy way to the beach. Had to have wifi hotspots dropped off. Staff was nice

• The Location is very good. Everything is walking distance (train, supermarket, restaurants) • The apartment is as advertised. Very comfortable and convenient. • There is no AC/heating units in the rooms. Only in the living room. I went in April, so we did not need it. • The reception staff are very friendly and helpful. They attended immediately to anything I asked for. • The security of the building is very good. I felt very safe. • Wifi was excellent. No interruption at all and the speed was great.

Please see other review for explanation of what was not good about hotel in general. But for this specific stay, the date was booked incorrectly. I immediately changed the reservation and informed Relax hotel of the situation via a phone call. Relax told me over the phone that I would be able to receive a refund if I spoke to reception about it in person at check in. But then they refused this upon checking in. Awful stay on top of everything else.

Checkin delayed over an hour mistaken by reception but he did not recognize it, excuses other reasons which does not makesense.
