Life tip: Stand up, stretch a bit, book a Slovakia hotel, go to the airport, get on a plane, never return. Or something a bit like that. While it's pretty difficult to stay in the very centre, there is accommodation nearby. Select from 7 options within 10 kilometres of downtown Osturna.

A long day of seeing the sights can really zap your energy. Crash at Pension Vasko and Goralturist, a couple of the most central hotels in this area.

You might also like to stay at the Grand Hotel Kempinski High Tatras, which is situtated 25 kilometres away. Or perhaps the Modrzewie Park Hotel, just a distance of 20 kilometres from Osturna. We'd also suggest the Grand Hotel Praha and the Hotel Bania Thermal & Ski. The first is 18 kilometres from downtown, while the latter is 12 kilometres away.

It's well known that Aussies just love to relax, so consider chilling out a little longer and checking out the Kotelnica Bialczanska Ski Area and Church of Jurgow in Bialka Tatrzanska, 12 kilometres to the northwest of Osturna. If you'd like to visit Bialka Tatrzanska, consider the Willa Na Olczańskim Wierchu and Zajazd Białczański. 15 kilometres to the northwest of Osturna you'll also find Gron, home to the Toporów Premium and Hotel Toporów. Church of Lesnica and the Centrum Hawran are popular places to experience when visiting Gron.

The Jan Kasprowicz Museum, Zakopane Aqua Park and the Tatra Museum are just some of the sweet attractions on offer in Zakopane. This regional centre is 20 kilometres west of Osturna and has a population of 28,000. If you're in the area for a bit longer, keep the good times rolling with a visit to Villa Koliba and Gubalowka Market. The Grand Hotel Stamary Wellness & Spa and Tatra Chalet are a selection of hotels in Zakopane.

On the plane? In a flap cos you haven't got accommodation at the other end? Don't panic! Chances are you'll be able to snap up a room at the Villa Zakamycze Airport. It's not far from John Paul II - Balice Airport, which is 90 kilometres from Osturna's centre.
