This hotel is unrivalled value for money; providing all facilities required for a traveller, including free parking and inclusive breakfast. The only downside for a soft European like me, a characteristic of all Toyoko Inns I've stayed in, is an overly hard bed.

The staff were friendly, helpful and spoke English when my Japanese failed me. The room was comfortable, clean and well appointed and there seemed to be a focus on being environmentally friendly. The Hotel was a short and mainly flat walk to shin Osaka station. I’d definitely stay again.

This property is great option around Shin Osaka station. There is a subway station very close to the station that take you to some major stations in the Osaka area like Namba for Dotonburi. The hotel was clean, quiet, and has a great healthy breakfast. Water, ice and coffee are always available. Would definitely recommend and stay here again if I’m in Osaka.

Small room with just one plug socket at one side of the room. Only one of us could charge devices as a result at one time. Beds comfy but too close together in an already small room. Breakfast wasn't great. Location was excellent being just 10 mibs from Shin Osaka train station.

Very close to the Metro, which is one stop from Shin Osaka station. Free breakfast is good. Shower is amazing! Beds are very firm but oddly comfortable.

It was reasonable for the price--but the customers are diverse. Some of them are very loud, rude and untidy in public spaces (the breakfast/common areas) and the hotel staff were too polite to do anything. That made the experience very unpleasant.

I stayed at the Toyoko Inn-Higashi Mikuni for 11 nights, and was very satisfied. I found the property well-maintained and the room very clean and easy to move around in for a business hotel. The bathtub was medium-sized (for Japanese standards), and had a large shower head above for the "rain shower" effect. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It's only a 1-minute walk from the Midosuji Metro line, and about 7 minutes to the JR Kyoto Line. There are various restaurants, bars, and coffee shops in the area. I also found a good dentist, ear doctor, and eye glasses shop on the walk to JR Higashi Yodogawa station. For long term stays, they clean the room every 4 days, but leave you clean towels hanging on your door every day. There is a washer and dryer for doing laundry just off the lobby that are cheaper than an outside laundromat. The only thing that could be better is the breakfast. However, it's included with the already very reasonable price, so you don't feel like you're throwing your money away by skipping it once in a while. I will definitely stay here again when I'm in Japan by myself again. By the way, if you're a yakitori fan, visit the Torikikozu shop in front of Higashi Mikuni station. You may have to wait a bit, but it's worth it.

The hotel is clean & the staff are friendly. It is about a 15 mins walk from Shin Osaka station. The complementary breakfast is not as good as other Toyoko Inn that we have stayed in. There is no cleaning for the first two nights.
