Wonderful, knowledgeable, patient, and conscientious staff. Delicious breakfast, and all located either next to Tenmabashi, which itself has many wonderful eating places and provides easy access to other key locations in Osaka. Affordable and comfortable.

It was unfortunate that we stayed at this hotel later in our trip because we couldn't help but compare it to our wonderful stays in Japanese business hotels, where many amenities were included at a much lower nightly rate. That said, our (rather spartan) room had a gorgeous view, was very roomy and clean, featured an outstanding media system, and the bed was very comfortable. In addition, all the staff were very welcoming and helpful, and the included Western-style breakfast was outstanding - seven different selections, and the items we were able to try were fresh, flavourful, and beautifully prepared and presented. The location was excellent - near grocery stores, dining and transportation, and within walking distance to Osaka Castle. We would recommend this hotel to travellers seeking a more Western-style hotel experience.

Favorite hotel in Japan by far. It was a cute little chic hotel a couple minutes from a station, you’re greeted by a friendly staff everyday you walk in and leave, and there’s also a cafe in the hotel. The rooms were comfortable and vibrant with a nice view of the river nearby. I would stay here again my next visit to Osaka

Hotel Noum was perfect for this trip to Osaka. I didn't want to stay in the business of Shinsaibashi or around Hep 5 shopping precinct. And being right on the beautiful river, close to public transport, other shopping centers, convenient food options, it was ideal. The staff are bilingual and diverse in background. The cafe is beautiful and available for that morning coffee pick me up. I can't thank them enough for their hospitality.

A really well designed and centrally located hotel. It was also incredibly well maintained and clean. The coffee was great and the atmosphere was chill. We’d 100% stay again. The only drawbacks were that they had no ketchup condiments for the Full English breakfast, the lift was slow and they were quite uncompromising about the kind of coffee that was included in the breakfast. You could also hear people in other rooms turning off lights and using the bathroom. Small things that would make a big difference if they were to address.

Hotel is located by the river in a pleasant highly walkable neighbourhood. Beautiful Osaka Tenmangu Shrine within easy walking distance and is well worth a visit. Hotel staff are friendly, and breakfast is delicious.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Noum. From the moment I arrived I was greeted like a friend by Kiyo and Gen on the front desk. Smooth, easy check in, large, comfortable room, with nice river view and balcony. Great breakfast—I can’t think of a time that eggs Benedict was on a hotel breakfast menu! All the staff I had contact with were very friendly, and professional—Itoka, Aki, Rumi, Izumi and Chibu—they genuinely loved what they were doing and seemed to have fun doing so. As an old guy, one thing that struck me was how young they all were and what an amazing job they did. They have some excellent recommendations for places to visit and especially to eat locally. One evening I ran into two of them in a local restaurant thinking they were guests at the hotel. When I return to Osaka, Hotel Noum will be my go to!

We stayed a night on a return to Osaka during our Japan tour and wish we’d found it earlier - the staff were so friendly - my husband’s favourite meal of the trip was on their recommendation of a local eatery they frequent themselves. The hotel cafe is lovely and has a great selection and is used by locals too - not just hotel guests - which is always a good sign.

Absolutely terrific hotel! Don't hesitate to book if you're in Osaka. I am a solo traveler and these accommodations were excellent. I enjoyed a week stay. They offer a variety of options for rooms, and a bonus for me was they offered laundry facilities, excellent if you're on a long journey and need to freshen your clothes. The staff is great! Again the staff is impressive, bright, and multilingual, friendly and respectfully polite in assisting you, everyone is able to provide excellent support. I'll be back!
