Quiet, close to Disney and Universal. Secure doors. Lazy river, slides and pool with hot tub. Though the hot tub was full of scum.

We loved everything about our stay except for one thing. Two things about our room 7419 1. It was chilly on a couple days. The HVAC unit pumped out no heat at all when it’s setting was put on “heat” 2. We were not fond of having no drawers in our room to put away and hide clothes, small items etc. The open concept cabinets were a pain and forces the user to basically live out of your luggage and not unpack. Lastly……. 3. Although all was clean, tidy and well maintained, the Red Lion is looking a bit “tired” now and could use some sprucing up and even some modernization. It’s time.

Our room smells like smoke, front desk girl is rude and unhelpful, pools are uncomfortably cold, hot tub is gross. We stayed in September and everything was perfect.. this stay is horrible and we’re really regretting giving this place the benefit of the doubt and hoping it will be the same experience. I guess the reviews are honest.

It’s a must stay!

The rooms are big and clean. They have dining options on the property. I received free breakfast since I’m a gold member. The price is a little higher right now because of spring break but it is still worth the stay. I travel with a service animal and they gave me no issues. It’s a great hotel
