Don't blow through before you've gone to the Col de Peyresourde and Telecabine Cable Car in Adervielle-Pouchergues. Travel 50 kilometres west and you'll find Cauterets, a regional centre with a population of 1,000. While you're checking out this neck of the woods, you'll be able to get your tourist on at Cirque du Lys Gondola, Puntas Gondola and the Pont d'Espagne. Courbet Gondola and Luz Ardiden Ski Resort are a couple more sights that are sure to offer up some photo ops.
