Why not also explore Camello Beach and the University of Cantabria? There are a number of great hotels where you can snap up a room for a night or two in Santander. Have a squiz at the facilities at the Gran Hotel Sardinero and Hotel Chiqui.

Hopped on the last flight into Ontaneda? Completely worn out? Then it's probably a sensible idea to find somewhere to stay close to the airport. The Hospedaje Golf and the Hotel Sercotel Los Ángeles are just short cab rides from Santander Airport, 25 kilometres from the centre of town.
