I truly enjoyed my stay

This is a brand new hotel (finished in 2024) in a block that was also built around the same time. There are a number of options for food and entertainment around the station, and this is a great hotel to stay at if you’re planning to go to the Fukui Prefectural Dinosaur Museum. Great location and an incredible value

Great location, great staff, breakfast included in the price of your stay, and nice firm bed. 👍👍

We stayed 3 nights. We had a room facing the river with two twin beds, a mall sofa and another small bed. The room was very clean and comfortable. Bathroom also very clean with a toilet room and shower. The hotel seems fairly new and is nicely decorated. The room was very quiet and had good air conditioning. A free shuttle will take you to the Shirakawa bus station (which is right near the gassho zukuri) and pick you up on a designated schedule. Many of the staff speak English. We got the breakfast and dinner included in our room plan and the meals were all delicious. Many dishes were new to us. A mix of beef and seafood. The third night’s dinner was amazing with sashimi, Hida beef sushi, and lobster hot pot (seems the more nights you stay the more amazing the food gets). The staff was very friendly and attentive. Definitely recommend this hotel if you want to stay in Shirakawa overnight but not do a farmhouse stay.

Great accessibility, steps from Fukui station. The free breakfast had a remarkable selection and is great to have, given that there are limited options open early in the morning. The room was very spacious and clean. Drugstore 10 minutes walk away for essentials and f some foods if needed. Several conveniences stores that are even closer (but more expensive). Many restaurants in walking distance as well as a department store. Solid choice!
