A suburb of Geneva, you’ll find it 4 kilometres southwest of the downtown area. To get there, the closest airport is Cointrin International Airport. Once you've stretched out those kinks, collected your bags and adjusted to your new surroundings, you'll need to travel 5 kilometres to the south.

This city is filled with exciting things to do, and many of them are found near Onex. It's difficult to choose the best attractions, but United Nations European Headquarters and the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art are two you shouldn't miss out on. Don't forget to put Palexpo and Saint-Pierre Cathedral on your checklist too. While you're in town, think about visiting a few other neighbourhoods to taste more of what Geneva offers. Cressy and Lancy are good recommendations that are within easy reach.

There are a million and one reasons why so many travellers venture to the city centre. The Jet d'Eau Fountain and the International Museum of the Red Cross and Red Crescent are just two of them. The Ariana Ceramics and Glass Museum and Bourg-de-Four Square are two more of the area's biggest draws.
