Hotel Route-Inn Noshiro and Hotel Route-Inn Akita Tsuchizaki are two options. They're as close to Ogata as you'll find.

Odate is another place where you can lay back and make friends with the room service menu. Located 55 kilometres northeast of Ogata, it's where you'll find the Odate Folk Museum and the Odate Hachiko.
