Oceanside Ski Resorts

Great location in Oceanside! Within walking distance of the beach, restaurants and shops. Room was nice and clean, with good AC. Owner was very nice. Will definitely stay again! The only thing I missed was a coffee maker in the room.

If you are wanting a “Planes, Trains, and Automobiles “ experience, this is the place for you. Coaster trolleys and freight trains go by several times an hour, you can hear car traffic, as well as small planes buzzing overhead. The bedframe sticks out and sounds like a kettle drum when you kick it…quite a surprise wake up when the late night urge comes upon you and you are climbing back in the rack. Good luck ironing your clothes, the iron it theater to the board with a short leash. Could see daylight coming in under the door, so lizards and bugs and spiders have free entry. Lastly, the showing was tepid at best, and the pressure was like peeing on a three alarm fire.

Breakfast was good. Made that easy to start the day. Jacuzzi was broken . Manager did take 20 off room so that was nice gesture. Shower was hot then cold then hot then cold . A good place to crash but room was basic. Close to pier which was cool. Next to freeway which was easy to navigate but you are next to a major freeway. I

Bed was not comfortable at all and we woke up with sore bodies. Staff was very cold, particularly the morning desk staff.
