Clean room.

Excellent service, great buffet breakfast, and maintenance of the property. We visited Augsburg to attend an FC Augsburg football match and go to Oktoberfest. We arrived early about 1100 by train and asked if our rooms were ready and the was only the second time out of around close to a dozen visits that our room was not ready but they offered to hold our bags and give us a call when our room would be ready so we could walk about Augsburg without our bags. We received our phonecall in about two hours at 1300. Our bellhop brought our bags out of holding and to our rooms for us. The cooling system was converted for winter a few days earlier but the staff did not expect a spike in the temperature (around 30 C) which made our rooms difficult to keep cool even when the thermostat was set at 16.5 C but the room felt around 26 or 27 C. Thankfully the staff provided us with a tower fan so we turned off the AC and opened the windows at night when it got cooler and the temperature dropped back down to autumn weather. My wife asked for an iron and ironing board for her dirndl and my shirt for Oktoberfest. The staff brought both to our door within 10 minutes of her request. After use, we placed both items in the hall. Best breakfast buffet in Augsburg. Everything was fresh and delicious from the sliced fresh fruits, breads, made to order eggs, etc. We requested ice for our water bottles and the waitstaff brought an ice bucket. Barring the AC issue still a great stay.

This hotel is BEYOND perfection. Staff were super extra nice, the bar was perfect, the breakfast was extraordinary. Rooms were super comfy...can't really ask for more!

A good option if you're looking for somewhere close to the train station. Room servicing is on request only, but that suited us fine.

1 appearance on arrival was amazing 2 use of the room facilities was disappointing because several of the ceiling light bulbs were missing or not working. 3 The bed frame was not secure and had loose joints but the mattress was ok. 4 bathroom was impressive but lacked a safety feel. The shower did not have all its outlets working and looked very dated. There were no grab handles to aid the climbing in and out of the cubicle as there was a high step in and being elderly leg stability is not good. 5 breakfast was very disappointing as it finished at 9.00 as we expected it to finish at 10.00 all other hotels we stayed in did finish at 10.00. They did not provide any cereals for breakfast only meats coffee. What a shame it looked after appealing when we arrived. It needs some serious Maintenance to the facilities. I will say it did have a fantastic ceiling in our bedroom.

Leider können wir unseren Aufenthalt nicht positiv bewerten. Schon bei der Ankunft wirkte das Haus ungepflegt: Sperrmüll im Durchgang, starker Geruch nach Katzenkot und Urin im Eingangsbereich, Zigarettenstummel unter dem Schlüsselkasten. Das Gebäude machte insgesamt einen heruntergekommenen Eindruck.Zur Wohnung:•Küche: Kühlschrank verschmutzt und extrem laut, Backofen unhygienisch, Feuchtigkeit an den Wänden, fehlende Ausstattung.•Bad: Sehr lauter Lüfter und Spülung, Schimmel in den Fugen, unangenehmer Geruch, Heizung schaltete sich nachts von selbst ein und war nicht regulierbar.•Schlaf-/Wohnbereich: Defekter Lattenrost, Rollos unbrauchbar, Fenster schwergängig, extrem hellhörige Wände, schmutzige Fenster und verstaubte Ecken.Zur Umgebung:Die Lage ist ein sozialer Brennpunkt, nachts sehr laut und wenig einladend. Parkplatzsuche war schwierig, und wir fühlten uns nicht sicher – erholsamer Schlaf war kaum möglich. Für Familien mit Kindern ist die Unterkunft aus unserer Sicht ungeeignet.Fazit:Der Zustand von Wohnung und Umfeld entsprach in keiner Weise unseren Erwartungen. Hygienemängel, schlechte Ausstattung, Lärm und mangelndes Sicherheitsgefühl machten den Aufenthalt unangenehm. Eine Weiterempfehlung können wir nicht aussprechen.
