Sorry! As much as we've tried, we haven't been able to discover any places to crash in the centre of Nyora.
However, Mulwala lies 45 kilometres from Nyora. Here you'll come up flush with a range of accommodations. A few to look into are the Bundalong Villas and Bundalong Holiday Resort.
Always on the lookout for your next big adventure? You'll be happy to know that the wider New South Wales region has some fabulous things to see and do as well. Lift your landscape photography game by checking out some of New South Wales' gorgeous rural landscapes. History museums and craft workshops are a few more places worth whipping out your camera for. Those with a good appetite for adventure can also enjoy a little snowboarding, skiing and mountain climbing in this corner of Australia.
Barooga is another place where you can kick back and get acquainted with the room service menu. Located 45 kilometres southwest of Nyora, it's where you'll discover the Barooga Botanical Gardens and the Cobram Barooga Golf Course. If you're keen to spend a night or two in Barooga, look into the rates at the Sunrise Motel and Bullanginya Lodge. 50 kilometres to the southwest of Nyora you'll find Koonoomoo, which is home to the Tocumwal Golf Resort and Elizas on the Murray. The Chrystie's Museum and The Big Strawberry are up there with the most popular places to check out when you're in Koonoomoo.
You'll find some great visitor attractions in Yarrawonga. Kennedy Memorial Park, Yarrawonga Mulwala Visitor Information Centre and Byramine Homestead are among our top picks. This regional hub is positioned 55 kilometres south of Nyora and has a population of 6,000. The Yarrawonga-Mulwala Pioneer Museum and the Yarrawonga Mulwala Golf Club are a couple more sights that are sure to offer up some choice photo ops. There are a range of great hotels where you can hit the hay for a night or two in Yarrawonga. We recommend checking out the amenities at the Murray Valley Resort and Yarrawonga Quality Motel.
Flying into Nyora? Then you'll want to know that the closest airport is Corowa Airport. It's just 60 kilometres from the town centre. If you're looking for a place to stay nearby, you can't go past the Lone Pine Motel - Corowa.
