From the moment you arrive, you'll be charmed by the direct access to the lake: a gentle, sandy slope, perfect for young children, leads to clear, peaceful waters, ideal for swimming and relaxing. Fishing enthusiasts will be delighted to learn that the lake is stocked, offering a wonderful experience for anglers of all ages. And to end the day in style, sit back and admire the breathtaking view of the sunset.
In winter, the scenery transforms into a snowy playground: several kilometers of trails directly on the lake allow for walking, ice skating, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing. We also offer snowshoe rentals for adults and children, upon request, so everyone can fully enjoy the cold season.
For outdoor enthusiasts, Parc Le Renouveau Rosaire-Sénécal (18 min) offers magnificent hiking trails and treetop adventure courses in the forest. Mont Bondy (26 min) offers a more challenging hike with beautiful viewpoints. Just 15 minutes from the chalet, the Papineau-Labelle Wildlife Reserve invites you to explore its unspoiled and unspoiled natural surroundings.
Water activities abound: discover the Rouge River by canoe or kayak (30 min), or simply float down it on an inflatable tube with Rivière sur Tube (32 min) or at Camping Fou du Roi (26 min). Local beaches, such as Nominingue (17 min) and Lac-Saguay (25 min), offer relaxing family moments.
